This is what the main interface looks like: (Click for larger image)

  1. Search field

    Enter a searchstring. Press enter to search the whole database, or press "Search title" to search titles, and "Search text" to search through the texts in the database. Use the radio buttons to switch between "search text" and "search numbers"
    Press "Show all" to restore the titlelist (2) to show all titles in the database

  2. Title list

    Shows the searchresult after search.
    Click to select, double click to add song to playlist (5).

  3. Vers list

    When a song is selected, the song"s verese are shown in this list with respective versename in front of the text.
    Click to preview the verse.
    Double click to publish.

  4. Preview window

    Shows the selected verse, with the selected font. Though not scaled correct!

  5. Playlist

    Add songs to the playlist by double click on a song in the title list (2), or by clicking on the "Add to playlist" button.
    Clicking "Remove" will - yes! - remove the selected song.
    The "===" button will add a separator at the end of the list.
    You may change the name of a separator - just double click on separator in the list.
    Use the up- and down buttons to move posts in the list.
    The list can be saved. All information will then be saved - separators and checks are also saved!!!

  6. Layouts

    This list contains a list of layouts found in the Layout folder. Hope it"s obvious what to do...

  7. Settings

    Displays some settings that are used.
    Double click to go to the preferences.

  8. Blank button

    This button will cause the secondary screen to go compleatly blank!

  9. Update button

    When this button is pressed, the secondary display will show what the preview window (4) is showing.

Playlist

The playlist is a good way to keep track of the program. You can add your songs and check the off when played. You may also add separators to mark a break, and you may also change the caption of a separator.

Edit the database
Here you can, at any time, edit the contents of the database - even while showing texts.

You may also add songs and verses, and print songs and titles.

Click "OK" to save and exit. If you've changed the path to the database you will have to restart the app.

  1. Text to be shown.
  2. Fontface and fontsize.
  3. Marginal between edge and text.
  4. Text position.
  5. Text alignment.
  6. Blanks the second screen.
  7. Updates the second screen to show the text in (1).

Print

You may print a song, all songs or only the titles. And you may print either to paper or to file.
Print
So, to do it, do as follows:

  1. Select "Edit Database" under "Edit" on the menubar.
  2. If you want to print a single song, use the data controller or the search function to display the song you want to print.
  3. Press "Print"
  4. Select weather you"d like to print to paper or to file.
  5. Select weather you.d like to print all titles or both a title and its verses.
  6. Check "Print all songs" if you want to print all songs and verses, not just current selected.
  7. If you"ve choosen to print to file, enter the path to where the file/files should be created.
  8. Finaly press "Print" to execute!
